We're interested to hear if the news that Australia's housing is the least affordable in the world changes the way you think about property ownership?

At first I thought it sounded pretty bad (does this mean that one morning we could wake up and the prices have crashed b/c suddenly the market's realised prices are too high?) but now I'm not so sure of the implications.

Don't forget there are also studies just out saying there's a housing crisis in Australia at the moment and there aren't enough dwellings being built for the growing population, surely that means if anything prices are just going to keep on going up?

I think property ownership is going through a bubble. It doesn't deter me to keep looking, but it does make me feel like I need to hunt harder, with an element of luck on finding something within my criteria

I think it's just about supply and demand. If population in any area is set to increase, then they need somewhere to live so will pay market rate.
